But this tab can be purchased for much lower than MSRP. Got me 1 for £300. Android 14 then 15 is fine with 3 years of security updates. My old Tab S7+ on Android 13 stills runs just fine. As for GPS! A stupid thing to note. Budget tablets don't have GPS. Many higher priced tablets dont have GPS either. Just not a requirement for many. Most of us dont us a tablet for Sat Nav. Get a Tesla if you a tablet Sat Nav.
Fingerprint sensor is just dumb. PIN and face works fine. And the software works great, exactly as it should without issue.

Terrible tablet. No fingerprint sensor. No GPS. Bad software with bugs.
But worst of all: ONLY 1 ANDROID UPDATE (CONFIRMED BY HONOR OFFICIAL SUPPORT) so this 650$ tablet will have the same support as an AliExpress 100$ tablet.
Do yourself a favor and buy an OnePlus Pad 2 or even better, a Samsung Tab S9 or S10.
This is shameful. Seriously. 1 Android update and no GPS for this price? My Gosh...

It can also show communication from honor phones on the tablet like I phones, sms, messenger, etc... But only honor to honor.

Only downside the google assistant is replaced by yoyo assistant. But Gemini and copilot still can be launched manually using the global taskbar shortcut.

The key thing is that a large tablet allows you to consume media in a more enjoyable fashion and the addition of a stylus allows you to draw stuff which is crucial for students/teachers/designers.

Finally, a Tab under 700 dollars that has an OLED. Oneplus, Xiaomi and Vivo need to get their Tab game up now, there's no excuse to having a tab without an OLED anymore.
I don't think people REALLY need the power of the latest chipset, especially after the 8+ gen 1. This tab is going to be plenty powerful and I'd say the display is the most important aspect of most devices as that's what you interact with and see most of the time. Honor made an awesome compromise by going with the 8s Gen 3, and this tab starts at 256 GB, well whoop de doo Samsung how about that?
The Oneplus Pad 2 is great for the price but an OLED is an OLED, can't beat it. Hope next year there's gonna be more tabs around the 550-700 euro price point with at least an 8s Gen 3 or better chip and with OLEDs.
