A company can and should work on smartphones powered by SD 8 Gen 4 (in the flagship segment), as well as smartphones powered by SD 7s Gen 2 (in the lower midrange segment). It is never all about one segment (flagship) over the other one (midrange).

In our country the Poco X6 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro comes at about the same price while having the same chipset
And then you have the Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 13 Pro/Pro+ that uses the same chipset but with a higher price 😭

They always base off their current line. The thing is they should really release this in SEA countries because their offerings recently is much more expensive and can't compete against stuff like Redmi.

Like I said, it's probably 7s Gen 2 or 6 Gen 3 former the most. I'm not surprised though. If only 7s Gen 3 would have arrived then I would have been since we are seeing 7 Gen 3 under 22000 INR.

Is there any phone that was launched with the 7s Gen 2 in 2023? Because if I remember correctly, the first wave of 7s Gen 2 phones arrived during Q1 of 2024...
