Do you know 60 Hz and 120 Hz as one? I played Mobile Legends on my iPhone 13 which is 60Hz and it doesn't run smooth at all but when I played it on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus at 120Hz I enjoyed how much difference the game runs as smooth as possible. It is a ridiculous reason to say that there is no problem with iPhone 16 60 Hz.

Google can still manage to give 120Hz screen on Pixel 9 despite not being an LTPO panel. $799 for 60Hz only in 2024 is a complete joke. Wake up, Apple. This isn't 2020 or 2021 anymore.

Not talking about you can set it down to 60Hz or the variable rate. I'm literally talking about the battery life of 120Hz all the way. Literally. Do you think I don't know about the other setting? 🙄🤦🏻♂️
Asked yourself, why even the most expensive flagship phone out there with 200+ Hz rate will make a default settings for the display rate to variable rates?? Because they know it going to drain up the battery freaking fast 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Coz personally, I have used all kinds of display be 60 to 200++ Hz, micro LED to the new ***** can't say it yet.
If Apple decided to put 120Hz on the next regular iPhone? That's not even my problem. As I'm not Apple. But, the way you make it sound like I'm something.
Personally, pity you. You only see something that is what appeal to your liking and ignore the fact, true experience thing. Any way, enjoy your 120Hz while I go to my hibernation den waiting for the next tech to test on. See y'all 🥱😴😪

an s24 costs like 600 usd
a 120hz display main advantage is not when gaming, but when simply web browsing. smoother scrolling is noticeable from miles away.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2024The argument isn't that those phones are better than t... moreDude, having 120Hz display doesn't make your phone better in any way. Be it on cheap or freaking expensive. What's matter is the SoC. It's like you have a brand new car but with 1.0 CC engine with all the bling bling vs brand new car with 2.0 CC engine with lame color and body styling. Both of the cars at around the same price. Which one will you pick? Bling bling or lame color body styling one?? If you say you going to pick the bling bling one, you really need to consider your choice preference. Why? You prefer something trendy over value. Having 120Hz on weak SoC (cheap phone model) is a trend in nowadays. But, on the value (experience) side (money value is different story) is 👎🏻
I have seen a lot, by a lot, I mean a lot of people I know (personally and through friends) bragging about the screen refresh rate on their cheap Android phone (when I say cheap, I mean range from damn cheap to midrange phone price). But, when it comes to loading games or some app, the loading time is what I noticed most. You can see the huge difference and also the person face is like this 😤
Here is a good example, I own an iPhone 11 and Realme 7 Pro (you can tell which phone came out first) and the hardware is huge difference between the two. But, my iPhone is smooth when scrolling compared to my Realme 7 Pro. Mind you, my Realme 7 Pro comes with 60Hz Super AMOLED screen + 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage while my iPhone 11 (well it's not worth to mention it). Loading screen (time) hell yeah, my iPhone 11 is fast. I use Apple Music App on both of my phone (iPhone and Android phone) and you can tell the difference. Not to mention Instagram, Twitter (X) 🙄
Don't be fooled by the marketing gimmick. Having 120Hz display doesn't mean you're overall experience is better. Unless you're going to buy the flagship model.
60Hz is good enough plus you have a long battery life compared to 120Hz on a cheap phone.

if xiaomi can cram a 120hz display with a decent soc on a 500usd phone, apple has 0 excuses at uh, twice that, without counting storage differences.
man, they killed the notification slider? that was strictly the best thing about iphones.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2024For those who bragging about 120Hz display on their cheap A... moreProblem is its 2024 and even mid rangers have been able to play 99% of games without hiccups for the last well forever aswell as a fluid ui experience
You've obviously haven't used/ owned a phone with 90hz or more extensively because trust me once you have, 60hz is pretty trash
And I'd actually rather the opposite and have a mid tier chip with 120hz cas what's the point if everything stutters andalmost defeats the purpose of having a high end chip.. if you don't get it that's cool just don't try a 120hz screen as it will ruin it for you

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2024For those who bragging about 120Hz display on their cheap A... moreThe argument isn't that those phones are better than the iPhone but that screens are not expensive. At the scale apple is operating it's probably negligible how much 60hz vs 120hz panels cost, apple gate keeps the 120hz display on pro models purely to make apple customers pay more.

Apple thinks people are blind like the see series! 60 Hz at this price is no more than an insult and in short in 2024/2025 Apple showed that the swimming master is against the water path.
