Good hardware upgrades overall but cutting costs on the screen isnt something i would choose, for that reason ill pass this gen. Maybe next year.

    But, what about the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Honor Magic6 Pro? Both have 120hz refresh rate and have similar resolutions (1290x2796 pixels for the iPhone 15 Pro Max and 1280x2800 pixels for the Honor Magic6 Pro), but the iPhone 15 Pro Max has 4441mAh with 16:01h battery life and the Magic6 Pro has 5600mAh with 14:06h battery life.

When they moved to OLED screens and thinner bezels I have a feeling that they sell a much better hardware now. Those tiny batteries and LCD screens from the past were just an insult. Now 60Hz screen is insult. For the rest, base iPhone 16 is pretty good phone imo.

            More and more the 16 and 16 plus look like better buys. Shame they're only 60hz

MacBook have 140w not iPhones if your talking about iPhones adapters then it's 40w. Also those phones with bigger battery have 120hz displays and bigger resolutions.

                        There are even more smartphones with larger battery capacity but less battery life.
                        Apple has a 140W USB-C Power Adapter for the iPhone 15 and 16 lineups, though it costs another $99.

                          I wonder if people would stop bashing Apple if all of their iPhone lineups had 120hz, 65W+ charging speed, 256GB base storage, 12GB RAM, and USB 3. It's not that I'm defending Apple; I'm just wondering.

                            In my experience 4gb ram on iPhone xs ios 17.6 is similar to 6gb ram on a very well optimised android like infinix or pixel.
                            4gb on ios is definitely still enough for light weight use. But if you want 4 social media apps, 10 chrome tabs and a game open in the background, 4gb ram will reload few tabs.

                              Simply ignore them, like I do with Huawei for instance. They just announced some contraption that folds twice for …reasons I guess 🤷 and I’m sure lots of impressive sounding words were bandied around aplenty at that announcement event. Not being a fan of Huawei though, I am therefore not interested in the slightest, and thus I simply have ignored it.

                              Not quite as easy for you lot with Apple though is it, try as you might there is just no getting them out of those heads of yours is there
