Sorry, no Samsung and no Apple this or next year.

    Same design.

    Same cameras

They think they can fool us? No we wont buy it.

Samsung's Ultra seri... moreThat's why I said "indirectly inspired", meaning Samsung may have noticed Xperia's Loop Design in the first place and taken the design with them, but made it curved all along from Note10, all up to S22/23 Ultra. S24 Ultra, on the other hand, the total flatness of its boxy, industrial design is not too far from the Original Xperia XZ though.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2024Sigh 😔, a red magic looks nothing like an s24 ultra. LolI said the S25 Ultra looks like the combination of Red Magic 9 Pro and Xperia 1 VI, not the S24 Ultra, my goodness. S24 Ultra, on the other hand, resembles combinations of Xperia XZ/XZ Premium, and Nokia N9/Lumia 800 designs with Samsung design.

Phone is narrower than s23, 24 ultra which I don't like so this time no upgrade I usually like wider phone which close to 18:9 aspect ratio It destroyed the concept of galaxy note series completely
I like bezel less 162 x 79.9 design or atleast close 79 but they are moving away from 79 to 77 so sad only reason I love galaxy ultra series because it has wider screen
Now it's time to moving away from galaxy ultra to another brand..... Rip ultra 😒

The Samsung build quality is very nice. I never thought I would get a new flagship phone... until I got my hands on a demo unit.

why are they not updating the sensors, stingyyy! chinese phones are the best now.

Seriously, when are they gonna start placing the front camera under the display so we can finally have a nice and clean display with no punch holes.

No AptX HD/Lossless, even though the chipset supports it. May be you should just live with LDAC and samsung's own SSC which are in theory HiRES, if you really want a samsung device. Strange thing is Pixels support AptX HD probably based on Exynos fabed by samsung

TheSnowWinterR7, 11 Sep 2024Well, how many years and in total Samsung phones that have ... moreSad. The s23 ultra looks nothing like a Sony. Neither did the s22 ultra or s24u. No one asked Sony to make such rubbish aspect ratio and expect to get praised for that. Samsung has a boxy design long before any Sony phone. But no, you guys would always rant... I see no resemblance so please point it out, camera lens? No. Boxy with flat frame? No (except the upcoming s25 ultra).

Well, how many years and in total Samsung phones that have been indirectly inspired by Sony Xperia's designs, where Samsung got the praises while Sony got the bashes to death? (Looking back at 2017 when Sony was criticized to death for their boxy Loop Design just because of "bezels", while Samsung got the praises with the boxy Note10 series until the S24U, and S25U looked like both 1 VI and RM9 Pro). Sigh... At least Sony got its last laugh though when the boxy, flat-frame design returns triumphally in 2020 with Xperia 1 II brings it back and iPhone 12 series repopularized once again.
