Wow so much crybabys here.... For me Design is since S23 Ultra super good and round edges makes it perfect now. Battery is more than enough without gaming its 2 days. Camera is super nice almost nothing to improve... Dont know what some people do with their phone but my Ultra was never a second frozen.... If you dont like it buy something else ... I will stay with Samsung and love it

atichko, 11 Sep 2024Same boring design, nothing new, same old camera layout. Th... moreThey destroyed the fresh designs of the Note20 Ultra (bronze color only) and the S21 Ultra. They don't want you to like fresh designs. They will give you slop, and you're forced to like it cus they said so. Look at the "modern" logos of companies now like pringles or something. People are getting duped 24/7 nowadays yet they seem to actually like it.

Apa, 11 Sep 2024I think the boxy design is the final form that every brand ... moreYou're totally right :-). I would love to see a design again such as the initial Motorola G-series with the comfy curved back covers (yes I know it wobbles on a desk but I didn't back then so I will surely not care now). I'm happy already that HMD mane an effort to bring back the Nokia Lumia 800 design but I don't think that will last for a long time.

TrainingAddict, 11 Sep 2024Many people defend them by saying that they don't play... moreThose people are just gaslighting themselves into liking slop so they don't feel bad about buying mid phones. And I think people nowadays have forgotten an important lesson that they used to teach us as kids. "Look at what they do instead of what they say", in other words, actions speak louder than words. People always believe companies, governments and politicians and take them at face value but either forget, don't look into or make themselves ignore what goes on behind the scenes/what they actually end up doing after promising stuff. Toxic mindset honestly.
Also, zamn man you got dem gains.

Well, we are completely on the plateau of the smartphone realm. No more cutting-edge or ground-breaking technologies, just little incremental improvements, and some-times those improvement make sense over the datasheet. You can tell right away when even the colors take several minutes during the presentation. Maybe some life will be thrown at the market when the form factor will be interesting again.
It happened to the pc market, then over the laptop market, now to the smartphone market. We'll see real changes over the wearables market in the coming years.

atichko, 11 Sep 2024Same boring design, nothing new, same old camera layout. Th... moreI think the boxy design is the final form that every brand will use for their phones, then they will just go back for curve edges again for another decade.
Folding screens still underwhelming due to crease and moving mechanical parts.
AR glasses still not suitable for the consumption but I think this might be our future

It look like a midrange phone from front side and with very similar hardware from last 2 years it would be one of the most disappointing phones samsung has ever made

◇10MP Old 3x cam disappointing for a 2025 flagship, but it performed well in the past. Still, should get 50MP bigger sensor. ❌️
◇50MP New ultrawide obviously great. ✅️
◇50MP Old periscope don't fix it if it ain't broke. ✅️
◇200MP Old main don't fix it if it ain't broke. ✅️

Bruh, while Xiaomi packing a 6200mah silicon battery and doing great camera upgrades, Samsung's still using an ordinary 5000mah battery and all they do is just add more megapixels to a single camera... $1400 price tag btw

TrainingAddict, 11 Sep 2024This is not a problem but the problem is that the battery c... moreother brands are going 6000mah, samsung can only do so much with software optimizations its gonna catch up to them at some point staying at 5000mah will be interesting how they compare against others using 6000mah with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
about charging even if you leave it plugged in they cant overcharge now anyway they have things in place and also can even set 80% cut off
Im looking to upgrade will likely be Oneplus 13 :)

Same boring design, nothing new, same old camera layout. The time to bring a new fresh design (on all levels) is already overdue for a few years now. Most probably very similar capability as previous generations with only a new chip-set and, of course, even more AI shit.
