Aierlan, 12 Sep 2024They didn't use exactly the same design as the K70 ult... moreProbably because the K70 Ultra uses an aluminum frame.
Xiaomi has been using, borderline inexcusably, plastic frames on their "T" phones for a while already

It’s interesting to see how Xiaomi is trying to unify the design across their lineup, but I agree with those saying the 13T had a more distinct look. The pricing issue is frustrating too—feels like we're paying more just for a name change and minor upgrades. That said, I still want to get this, especially with the chipset battle making things competitive!

Regardless, generic designs tend to ruin the appeal of flagships, for what its worth.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2024There's a reason they look like pocos. Really they are... moreBut what you also have to consider is how the competitors are priced. Is pricing poor for all manufacturers or just Xiaomi? If only Xiaomi's pricing is this bad then I agree, that's bad. But if every manufacturer's pricing is bad then you can't JUST blame Xiaomi yk?
I hope it makes sense. Because I think it's not just Xiaomi's fault, but rather the UK having high taxes, inflation or something else, because it seems everything there is overpriced.
Oh and btw, I would've agreed with you on this BUT the 13T and 13T Pro have a far larger main sensor AND better UW cams compared to the K60 Ultra, that's why I wasn't mad at them for charging even slightly higher. It's like a whole different phone if the cameras are swapped like that yk?

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2024This year the 14tpro will destroy the galaxy fe in chipset ... moreIt won't only better in chipset than s24 fe, s24 fe will have 8-bit panel, will also have worse cameras or at best same with ultrawide, will have lower starting storage with 128 gb(means ufs 3.1 with base storage) and also worse sensors with no physical proximity sensor

Really they are a redmi device with different naming for the European markets. We get ripped off on everything over here... Ps5 pro $700 converts to £537 but they are selling it to us for £699 which is $900. Same with the 14tpro/redmi k70 ultra.. The 14tpro is almost identical if not totally identical to the redmi k70 ultra. They been doing this for years.. They basically rename the Redmi k70 ultra and sell it to us as a normal xiaomi device for £200 more than it's counterpart. My xiaomi 12tpro has the same model name as its redmi equivalent for software updates codename diting used for both handsets.

Galaxy s24fe will have underclocked exynos while xiaomi 14tpro will use overclocked dimensity 9300+ which is already proven against snapdragon 8 gen3 nevermind an exynos especially an underclocked one. However we are at the end of this generation of chipsets and new ones are incoming on the oneplus 13. That is the phone to buy because your buying a year old chipset with the xiaomi 14tpro and galaxy s24 fe.

Luke, 12 Sep 2024can someone explain in brief what is the logic behind those... moreSo its like samsung's naming
Like 22/23/24 is the flagship number, in Xiaomi same the 12/13/14
for xiaomi the upgraded version use Pro behind the number, 14 is the vanilla (base) model, 14 Pro, 14 Ultra & for samsung like S24, S24+, & S24 Ultra
the cheaper version of xiaomi flagship (global version) using T behind their number, like 14T & 14T Pro, the difference usually in their chipsets. the pro version usually using last year flagship chip (which i cant confirm) - for samsung if you wanna know is the S24 Fe
For Xiaomi their flagships usually using the same chipset, like the 14, 14 pro, and 14 ultra using the 8gen3

They didn't use exactly the same design as the K70 ultra this year like they did in previous years. Might be the first time it's different albeit still very simlar. Just a slightly different camera island
