Hyperos was much slower and more complex whereas MIUI is simple and fast, no lag.
Hyperos will slow down your phone a lot. It's really not necessary.
If they rebuild hyperos from scratch then I might give it another try in like 5-10 years. Once they ironed out the bugs that is...

And HyperOS is even better on all of Xiaomi's premium midrange phones and flagships including the older ones. I used it on the Mi 11 and the Turbo 3 and had a very good experience, because I was pretty much repulsed by MIUI and initially thought I'd absolutely hate it, but I didn't. It was completely fine. A solid 8/10 UX with minor problems preventing it from reaching its full potential, although HyperOS 2.0 is supposed to address a lot of those minor inconveniences.

Front camera has to at least has 1440p or 4K. "Camera phone" with 1080p30 limit? What is that, a $100 phone?
And because it's been ages since Xiaomi mid-higher phones has no sd card slot, why they kept the USB 2.0? At the very least, USB 3.0-3.1-3.2 would help compensate the lack of sd slot by faster usb transfer (like using portable usb c ssd). Still annoyed that there are phones with 8K recording can only barely save few hours worth of footages, and the files difficult to get out of. Assuming the phone contains minimal or no personal data, games, etc, which is impossible.

T version is a redmi but is sold under a different name to inflate the price. T version is upper midrange/flagship killer and comes with a plus version dimensity.. It just misses out on 2025 chipsets so is a bad buy really. Redmi version is only different in name and price.

The Oneplus 12 has nice components but IP65 protection means don't submerge the phone.
The Oppo Find X7 also has IP 65. That shows third rate engineering

The left side is 14T which has flat back (maybe front flat too) while the right side has quad micro curved (14T Pro). Usually charging speed is also different.
