      it is time to hop into apple's marketing and android makers bring back capacitive button features...
      it reminds me of lg g8 (though it uses the rear fingerprint sensor) that can pull down quick toggles and asus phones that enables the side fingerprint sensor to scroll on web pages...
      they just have to do add some codes (software) to do other things like that camera button does...
      as for iphone 16, placing a touch id on the same camera button was a missed opportunity... unless they really plan to have it on the next iteration - because, basically, it is a touch id like on iphone se where it a capacitive button has haptic motors underneath...

What Sony should do is take advantage of this and boost advertising since they have had it for years and other brands too! Only now this is going to become popular because Apple implemented it on the iPhone 16! You will see a wave of these touch buttons in Android manufacturers haha

          Of course a China company already copied it 😂

            This is just disappointing.

                              I will say I am somewhat impressed in how quick they managed to copy and make their own Camera Control button... though they likely knew about the button months in advance due to leaks and the such.
