Most iPhone users change device well before battery dies, so not an issue.

Then they better use premium battery cells instead of the inferior cheap ones they used on the 14 and 15 series.

Chinese companies often give free battery replacement sometimes. Also, their batteries generally have a longer lifespan and charging speeds. Even the paid battery replacements are affordable and usually around $30 including labour charges
Apple meanwhile:
$120 for the battery, it charges slow, it degrades fast, and you can't use aftermarket batteries because we don't allow that. Take it or it leave it
I remember taking my OnePlus for a battery replacement which after 4 years was quite degraded but still performing well for it's age, but they were offering free replacements so I decided to have it replaced
The phone was returned in less than 2 hours and the service center (oneplus experience store) treated me with a nice cup of coffee, like they offer all of their experience store customers. I was already decided on which brand of phone to buy as my next : )

Not a big deal. You will buy a new phone sooner than the battery dies.

It's a good thing there are always stores that replace it for much less in my country lol. $100 for a battery? Ok, sure.
