I know its open source and free but having said that it is the most virus and mallware affected operating system. I have tried Android phone, iphones, Blackberry and Windows phone,
Android is good but too much free ad, slow, lag and battery drainer.
Iphone is good, smooth and easy to use but hardware is little boring and old,
Blackberry - good for security but not smart enough to compete.
Windows - boring UI but smooth and easy to use.
I prefer buying an iphone or windows phone.

WP8 is completely and simple for 5 minutes, after which is gets super boring and slow to work with because of the long animations.

yeah, 24 Jul 2013this is really a disappointment. i was expecting more than ... moreScuse me, but iOS5 to iOS6 was a downgrade because of maps, youtube and other things. There was nothing good about it. This Android 4.3 improve the experience and makes it work faster because of OpenGL ES 3.0! So this IS an upgrade, not a downgrade like iOS6, my firend!

Remember, the most secure operating system in the world - OpenBSD - is Open Source.

this is really a disappointment. i was expecting more than this really minor and almost useless update. this is the equivalent of the iOS5 to iOS6 update lol.
i know that there hasnt been any news related to my questions, meaning that the answer might be no, but...
did they even mention Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie? At least a hint, or easter egg like they usually do?

If on topic, Android is really getting better, and especially when it's have many custom roms,kernels, you can overclock your cpu and etc..These things can absolutely make your phone running much better and smoother..For example I have Samsung Galaxy S3, on Touchwiz it's works slower and some apps can take up 3-5 secs to open, but on custom Rom with custom Kernel it's absolutely different, it's works like absolutely new phone,so who say that Android is sh*t,they definitely didn't try these things..:)
And yes, on IOS you don't need any custom Rom,kernel and etc to make it run faster,because IOS is really faster OS than Android but Android is not far behind IOS.. And Wp8..Wp8 interface is absolutely boring, and you can't make it look like as Android or IOS (if so please correct me)

I had i9000 which worked ok with bit of lag on 4.2.2 CM10.1
Now i have I9505....i have only rooted the phone and kept it stock(+changed to nova launcher prime as i like it more) and i have to say i have no problem whatsoever with android:)...works just wonderful! So all of you stop bitchin and if you think it lags then try clean android and you will be surprised.....Android is a great OS as it dared take linux kernel....I also use Xubuntu on my laptop and games on steam that have linux support work on high on xubuntu while on low...barely to medium...on my win8(and it's optimized not with bloatware)
