Well, I wouldn't call the A53 bad hardware, but it's far from the best in the price range it's in, and I would've rather bought something with a better SoC, but less updates.

I've probably been using phones longer than you, and have been versed about them before you. I mean, I have been "hacking" and modding phones since symbian. I owned the HTC desire S which was the beginning of my journey into rooting and modding android phones.

    Point is you aren't talking to a noob, but you'd still tell me how my Galaxy A53 5G getting 4 OS updates is a bad thing, because, to you, it has bad hardware.

            It's not bad, and it's nice to see a 1/2.76" sensor used in ultrawide, but couldn't they fit a bigger battery there? 5000mAh ain't bad, but ain't impressive either. The only downside of bigger battery is size and weight. I guess this particular phone was meant to be sold in offline markets given the curved screen.

Maybe the frame of Zero... moreAlso personally never understood the hype around camera, i was actually very disappointed when Tecno Camon 30 Premier was launched. There was no upgrade in the camera department other than the addition telephoto camera. Infact:

                      They degraded the main camera by removing Sensor Shift OIS that they brought in Tecno Camon 20 Premier. Lowered the aperture. Didn't even increase sensor size either.

                      They degraded the Ultrawide camera massively from 108MP 1/1.67 inch sensor to a 50MP 1/2.76 sensor.

                      In the front camera they just changed the MP count from 32MP to 50MP. Same sensor size of 1/2.8 inch sensor. Same f/2.5 aperture.

                      There is barely any upgrade in camera department.
                      And currently 512GB 20 Premier is selling for 15k. 30 premier is selling for 38k. Just Better chipset and a telephoto camera for this kind of price difference while getting a lower quality ultrawide camera.

                      Tecno is clearly messing up with their prices. And their sales of this phone and price cuts of previous flagship shows this clearly.

                        Techno has a bit a higher resolution while infinix has a bit higher 144hz screen.
                        They have same ultrawide and front camera, main camera is almost same size.
                        At the end these are all minor differences.

                        Besides i was not even talking about which is better phone, i was talking about the what we are getting for the price we are paying.
                        Only 2 major differences are tecno has telephoto camera and infinix has wireless charging. There is absolutely no way to justify paying 10K extra for Tecno. Infact the price difference is so significant, that they are in completely different price category.

                        Another fun fact, Tecno Camon 20 Premier (last gen) is currently selling at a 50% price cut from launch price. I'm guessing in few months, tecno camon 30 premier will also suffer the same fate.
                        Also Tecno camon 30 Premier has been selling for months now and has a total of 37 reviews on Amazon, where they officially launched it. They are clearly not able to sell this phone at this price. Its Very clear that they overestimated their phone and overpriced quite a bit.

                        While infinix zero 30 is still selling without any price cuts and has over 12k reviews.

                              The Infinix Zero 40 5G has an old SoC.

                              For the price better my Poco X6 Pro with its Dimensity 8300 Ultra.

Maybe the frame of Zero 40 is plastic (cheaper build). Yes Zero 40 has curve screen but 30 Premier has higher resolution and LTPO. Yes Zero 4G has wireless charging but 30 Premier has faster wired charging.

                                In the end, Tecno has all arround spec especially camera related just like flagship.

                                    And infinix zero 40 also has a back protective case and a curved tempered glass in the box.
