I imagine the „volume boost“ those cheap brands always advertise as a special mode which makes the speaker louder but also so distorted that it sounds like when the sound is overdriven in memes, perfect to torture one‘s ears.
Apart from that, I didn’t know Umidigi makes phones that are not iPhone or Samsung knockoffs, but also Redmi knockoffs which nowadays are Oppo knockoffs
