They'll probably remove the headphone jack and microSD support that were present in G73 while pairing it with a Snap 695. So, more E-waste

OneAdamC, 21 hours agoCompletely agree, the likes of Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola et... moreBecause polluting the market with tons of products is also a way of marketing.
In times where news are spread in a second and people has an increasing sense of urgency and absolute lack of consistency, whatever "new" thing that gets released generates marketing, exposition and articles in specialized media. One or two weeks later, people already forgot, because they are looking another new thing that was just released. It's a mechanical beheviour or almost that. As a plus, consumerism is in crisis in many countries, people don't spend money unless necessary. That's why, in my perception, brands keep releasing new products every week, because it creates a momentum and constant exposition.
By the way... Motorola, together with LG, were amazing from 2015 to 2018. Only a few phones per year, most of them with premium metal/alluminum build, good displays and chipset and excellent specs overall.

Budget, mid, upper mid, flagship, fold, flip. Why can't they just keep it simple like that.

Moto almost never uses a main+ultra wide+2mp macro/depth sensor setup to inflate their number of cameras (they usually just have the first two on cheaper models), which makes me think that this thing might actually have a telephoto camera.

Looks interesting. I especially like the flat display instead of curved. And, as someone else pointed out, SOC will most likely be an SD 6s Gen 3. Makes sense since the G85 also has it, and I highly doubt Moto would make a lower tier device in the series more powerful.
What is truly interesting is that it will supposedly come with IP68, when the higher tier G85 has only IP54. The MIL-STD is no doubt just marketing bunk.

It's 6s Gen 3 guys. Same G85 with flat Amoled display. G86 is where we can hope for some improvements.
