Yes china does steal but so does America and the biggest loss to theft is actually from people selling out from the inside.. that's just history/espionage 101

Also do companies that make their own guess what they EXPLOIT under age labour force in china etc.. so pick your poison..nestle does it etc

So be original and exploit or copy/ steal

            Vlad, 13 hours agoWhat does the author mean by "marks" around the screen?i think they're talking about the frame. the silver part jutting in and taking away from the screen's real estate. the most egregious example i can think of is the s24 ultra, the frame takes up like 50% of the bezel area.

                  Anonymous, 14 hours agoI hope Find X8 be globallyYeah, I really hope it will be sold where I live. I can't find any phone with a decent camera setup at the moment as none of the BBK brands or Xiaomi sells their flagships here.

That doesnt means there will be quality or that it wont kill you somehow. It also doesnt means they cant create something good, but like the West, it seems sometimes greed wins out over quality.

                    And that applies not only to mainland China, but Taiwan as well. Yeah, come downvote me but you know it's true. That's why you dont see them thriving on other markets where security is important, like medical equipment or cars (most Chinese car companies started as a joint venture with Western manufacturers).

                    This might all change in the future, and hopefully it does, but the cultural aspect of taking care of details is not there yet.

                          Totally agree, if you have nothing to say make something minor major.

                          First the iPhone 16 pro is different, OS, size, weight, display, camera , memory and price

                                What does the author mean by "marks" around the screen?

                                  Ice Universe seems obsessed with bezels

                                    I was shocked by the thinness of the 15 pro's bezels last year and i was astonished by the 16 pro's bezels this year. To think that Oppo's X8 is gonna match this so soon is surprising to say the least. I don't have problems with thick bezels but the ununiform bezels of top flagships like the X7 Ultra, Oneplus 12 and the X100 Pro/Ultra really icked me out. The top and bottom edges especially looked bad.

                                    The IQOO 12 and other flat displays like the Xiaomi 14 series solved this problem and I think the main issue was the fact that curved displays now have more bezels than flat ones and by sticking to the curved displays, the top flagships suffered from thicker bezels. That's just my theory.

                                    In any case, I'm actually happy that Oppo's gonna have all these features. I don't care if they "copy" as long as the features are good, like the dynamic island is gonna be a software feature that should most likely be easy to disable if someone dislikes it, whereas the magnetic charger is going to be a game changer imo. Now, I hope Oneplus 13 has uniform and thin bezels as well cus ain't no way im gonna be accepting a price hike if they have the same old bezels lol

                                      But I think the Chinese being this fast to copy a feature is innovative in itself

                                      That's some serious robustness of their supply chain and manufacturing capabilities

                                      They are extra ready to adopt anything from the latest battery chemistry, tri fold displays etc to mass production

                                      Look how many concepts never make it to mass production

                                      Meanwhile the likes of Samsung and apple can't copy and give Thier userbase the best technologies as quickly (maybe it's intentional)
