You're technically correct, but I doubt this battle will be won.
It has 3 (screens) and it folds.
What better name would you suggest ?

They don't need to make it themselves if they have good relationship with the Dutch right?

I remember some time ago(2 years?),ASML's chaiman( or president) said that they don't use US tech, then some twitter US tech guy said that's not true because they bought some US tech company in the sixties or seventies which had some tech for lithography.
Seriously WTF? Any patent would be long overdue and they bought It.
Sorry, but this is just ridiculous that US is forcing others to do what they want because they use something originated from US many many years ago and the best is that likely was not even financed by the government.

Tbh, $3000 is still a good price considering the tech on its first attempt. This could easily be a $5000 phone.

Anyway, it's just a matter of time before China acquires EUV lithography themselves.

The current state is they can't supply Huawei without permission (at least without getting sanctioned anyway). It's the lack of access to EUV machines that are the big stumbling block for Chinese chip manufacturers. Although the are made by ASML there is US tech involved and they can't be supplied to any Chinese companies. Also other companies using them will need permission to supply Huawei

Anon, 20 Sep 2024If US banned them and they can't use Snapdragon chip.... moreMediaTek can't sell to Huawei without a licence from the US govt even though they're a Taiwanese company just as TSMC can't manufacture chips for Huawei. US govt wants to restrict Huawei to purchasing 5G-less Snapdragon chips from Qualcomm. It makes Huawei phones less desirable and gives money to Qualcomm.
