Not for its sight, but for its playful implementation. Also, the apps I use the most are superior on iOS to their Android counterparts. Some are not available on Android. Also, the availability and variations of accessories for iPhones is unmatched. None of it has anything to do with loyalty to Apple.

        So, they messed up with the 16 and are already talking about the 17. That's so sad it's not even funny anymore. Someone should be fired at Apple. And by someone I mean everyone.

          Good news. Finally they can watch videos without that black island. Small hole cutout is ok. But will be great if all brands make under display camera and full display.

            zz, 22 Sep 2024you know that refresh rate is important for LCD but not for... moreThat's not true at all. OLED has almost instant pixel response time which only eliminates smearing of pixels during motion, but still needs high refresh rate to feel smooth during motion.

            I know that for a fact because my S23 Ultra has 120Hz OLED and I have profile set that sets my phone to power saving over night and during that time it locks to 60Hz and it feels anything but smooth. I also have OLED monitor for my computer and it feels horrible at 60Hz compared to native 240Hz.

            Bottom line, high refresh rate matters for OLED too. Claiming it doesn't just tells me you haven't actually used OLED yourself.

                  If vanilla iPhones actually finally get 120Hz displays, that will be huge. Because currently, this is one of the greatest and dumbest issues with vanilla iPhones. When 150€ phones have high refresh rate displays, it's just unforgivable for 900€ one to still be stuck at 60Hz.

                    Update: Young has deleted the tweet linked as the source of this story since there was some confusion while responding to his notifications, and the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are not expected to get the under-display Face ID tech.

                    I have said this in numerous post, wait 24 hours and then report the story
                    It simply makes no sense whatsoever to comment further on a deleted tweet. The only reason why it is deleted as so many are is that they are fiction in order to be paid by EM

                    I have never read an article where they explained why the tweet was removed.
                    Imagine the reverse where a phone is reviewed here and within 24 hours it is gone.

                    These are baseless rumours. Waiting 24 hours isn't going to make an iota of difference, except people get to discuss items the is prepared to stand by and be questioned on.

                    Having a twitter account should NOT be a reason to disseminate BS

Yes, 60 Hz displays can display 120 fps videos; they can only display 60 frames per second, though. So 120 fps videos will be effectively the same as 60 fps videos when displayed on 60 Hz displays. It has nothing to do with slow motion. That's another matter. When you display 120 fps videos on 60 Hz displays, the videos won't display in slow motion unless you deliberately play them in lower than 1x speed. Your post is nonsensical.
