Both of which are not as hard as GGV2, but the strengthened one is, as near as makes no difference, as hard.

        Vickers hardness HV
        > unstrengthened
        570
        > strengthened*
        660

Moh's scale is very big in it's gaps. For example on Moh's scale number 8 covers a large range, but as an example is around 1650 on Vickers hardness scale. Conversion from Vickers to Moh's, or vice versa, isn't perfect :-)

Marco M, 24 Sep 2024Yes, of course. If those phones are better than Apple's Ceramic shield then they're the real deal. Do you have any info on the Vivo glasses?

jiyen235, 24 Sep 2024my point is, is it actually better? i haven't seen any... moreYes, of course. There are several 3rd party tests and measurements, such as Vickers hardness measruement. Currently I haven't seen anyone surpass Xiaomi's dragon crystall. GGV2 isn't even on the podium.

Phone glass - Vickers hardness (HV0.025)
Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass - 860
            Huawei Kunlun 2 generation - 830
Apple Ceramic Shield Glass - 814
            Corning Gorilla Glass Victus2 - 670

Hardness is of course only one part. The resilience to breaking/cracking also seems quite good with the dragon crystal. As demonstrated here:

              Specs should be good though!!

This is a more affordable lineup and gets the significantly weaker GGV2.
                  Differentiation is important.

I guess the Xiaomi 14T series would be the upper-midrange that has slightly below-flagship-level hardware, whereas the Note 14 series would be more of an array of affordable midrange devices.

Well, apparently some new leaks have emerged regarding the specs of the Note 14 lineup, including their processors.

                            Note 14 - Dimensity 7050
Note 14 Pro - Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (same as previous rumors)
                            Note 14 Pro+ - Dimensity 8200

Not sure if these leaks are credible or not, but if it's true, then vanilla Note 14 and Note 14 Pro+ buyers will surely rejoice because they'll get better processors than what were originally rumored (D6300 for Note 14 and D7350 for Note 14 Pro+).

Again, we'll just have to wait till September 26 to confirm.

I still use Redmi Note 9 Pro global and since the purchase have not seen a reason to swap it to a newer downgraded models. Back then it was their mistake to make a phone with specs that would outlast newer downgraded models, and will continue to outperform until humanity collapse, I guess. They will need to release a some update that will brick the device, otherwise I see no reason to change the phone unlike people that are buying new phones every time to pretend to be rich while in reality are hardly meeting two ends together and actively arguing on the internet on which phone is better.
