kiasunkiasi, 25 Sep 2024that's why there are bone conduction ear piece like ShokzBone conduction earphones are far inferior and have always created worse audio output compared to their air conduction counterparts. This has always been the case and is the exact reason why they have never caught on

Anton .el PAPI., 24 Sep 2024Bluetooth is now in the sixth generation! Why do manufactur... moreMany manufacturers still use older Bluetooth versions despite newer generations being available because they offer a more cost-effective solution while providing adequate performance for most applications. The latest versions often require expensive hardware upgrades, and not all devices need the enhanced speed or range. Additionally, sticking with older versions ensures broader compatibility with a wide range of devices, making them a practical choice for many use cases in the market.

I never understood these open-ear earbuds. They are practically useless unless you are inside a silent room. I mean I thought this is obvious since the walkman days. Go outside and you can barely listen to any fidelity as you have to crank up the volume to combat environment noise. The only thing you're doing is damaging your ears.
