Ever heard of Ericsson R380 (rls. date 2000) first Symbian touchscreen, also the first phone called smartphone? Or, Sony ericsson p800, p900, p910, p950, p1? PDA's touch using PalmOS? Should I continue? Learn people, learn, then talk nonsense. By the way, Nokia 7650 was the first Symbian smartphone and phone to have an camera on board. Should i continue, who copied who? Who innovated and who is just using what others have done and brag about as if it was their ideas?
On topic: This is just the beginning, not that is affecting any of the companies mentioned, but a small hope of awakening...

(Maybe Mot... moreactually that was not a smartphone,and it had a useless resistive touchscreen(no offence to 5800 users :-p)...iphone did'nt change the industry with a touchscreen but the way you interacted it with,those wobbling icons,that bounce effect after a scroll(which samsung clearly copied),pinch to zoom,slide to unlock,the interface moved with the finger and not after it,etc those ideas were completely new for smartphone industry,they seem common now but if you have used any device before iphone,you would know what was original about the first iphone(honestly,recent ones are ridiculous).......

Apple sold 31 millions iPhones, very impressive number BTW. Meanwhile Samsung shipped 72 millions Galaxy phones to various warehouse around the world, but still pulling in a record 8.5 billions. There must be something wrong here ??

They were the first with a Touchscreen phone, not the iPhone, not the LG Prada, but the SGH-Z610! It was released in February 2006, a long way before the other two! It had 3.5 inches screen, dual-cameras, 16 grill icons on a screen (just like the iOS-copied design) and even that circle button which Apple copied after! Check yourself if you do not believe me! Apple did not invented anything! They only stole! Tell me one thing they invented and I will give you one thing which was made before! iPhone 4 design is made by Sony! iPad design is got from 1994 "Knight Reader" Tablet! Even slide to unlock is from Neonode n1m! Pinch to zoom from DiamondPro table made by Mitsubishi! Multitouch was showed earlier by many others! They didn't invented anything as I said! I use Sony Xperia S and even 4.1 update with Project Butter doesn't help. I've heard that factory reset after the update might help but haven't tried it yet. Might also be weak hardware (can't play 10bit 720p video properly) but that is not Android fault, but ARM CPUs.

I would never bash Nokia because of some thing I don't like or some thing is not perfect. Instead I'd compliment their design and looks, cause are nice. But you bash Android because of a really minor imperfection, that speak of the kind of person you are, not of the quality of Android. You are being the hideous thing in this world because you can't appreciate the good of the things offered in the many options we have in the market.

I went to a store to buy S3 but bought Canvas HD for 2/4 of the price since i knew both would lag, be it S3 or Canvas HD, actually Android is all about lag. Lol. I got S3 here in India for 7000 RS second hand! No more Android crap. Will finally settle for a Lumia 1020 or the upcoming phablet from Nokia.

maybe people are realizing that android is the same all over. that is why they buy other brands with similar specs for lower price... or they are sick of buying high tier phones with same features and get outdated in just a few months so they are getting mid range instead...
