So more than $500. And it's fine. With Realme, you pay less and get plastic phone with lesser software experience. With Samsung you pay more for more premium material and better software support. Seems fair, depending on what people are looking for.

Same generic design, unimpressive internals, uncompetitive pricing. Yawn.

It should be $650 for 256GB and $710 for 512GB. $650 for 128GB is an absolute ripoff, especially when there's no microSD card slot in the phone and there's no UFS 4.0 128GB ever being used.

The US tried to ban Xiaomi.

So I don't think Xiaomi is in any hurry to enter the US market.

Motorola mobile division was American before being purchased by Lenovo. OpenPlus is one of the smallest Chinese phone makers and never threatened iPhone sales. Huawei was banned right after US carriers agreed to carry their phones and Xiaomi was just straight out issued with a ban before trying to enter the US market.
