Like I mentioned in the previous comment, very few products are certified by the US military or government. This means, it is all self regulated. Which "allows" a manufacturer to claim it is MIL-STD-810 tested without actually performing or passing any tests at all.

Most consumer products are only tested against one or two cherry picked sub tests. This is a lot more common on laptops.

        Laptops marketed as "MIL-STD 810H tested" are generally not water resistant. At best they have spill resistant keyboards. Meanwhile the Galaxy Tab S models are both water and dust resistant like a smartphone (IP68).

        Laptops generally also skip other parts of the MIL-STD 810H concerning extreme temperatures, altitude/pressure and such.

        If you see a MIL-STD 810H reference on something not looking very rugged, you unfortunately win the displeasure of searching for a bunch of well hidden asterisks, disclaimers and even poorly referenced terms and conditions, on manufacturer product sites. Almost no laptops, tablets or phones are genuinely certified MIL-STD 810H.

                Lenovo X1 series laptops and 2-in-1's
                Lenovo X13 series (ditto as above = ")
                Lenovo ThinkPad T & P series and Carbon series

                HP EliteBook and ZBook models

                Passing the MIL-STD 810H test is not unique to Asus is what I'm saying.
