xXxtremeboy, 14 hours agoso is it officiall about the 4 years of OS Upgrades? it shi... more4 OS anf 5 years security is official, even reviews mention it.

Android 18 will be the last one, that is how Xiaomi will play this "game".

    Bad release.

The Xiaomi 14T has a downgraded main cam, inferior chip to other phones in its price bracket so it's a weird sell. The 14T Pro is worse than the Oneplus 12 in everything except for the main cam, so if you love a good main cam the 14T Pro is for you, overall the Oneplus 12 destroys the 14T Pro.

Pricing is the worst part, if they priced em all 100-200 euros cheaper it'd have been fine. But the Oneplus 12 is already there and compared to the 14T Pro it's a better buy with lower prices in a lot of places. The 14T is trickier but the V40 Pro is a better phone than that.

The T series is Xiaomi's most confused and confusing series out there. it seems they're just throwing stuff on the wall to see what sticks. They're gonna get price cuts in a month or two, im sure.

Iyeeeeeeyyyy. It's time to replace my 12T phone with this super phone (the chipset I mean)

Helloooow.. The vanila version frame is made of plastic whereas the pro version has metal? It's Xiaomi but tasted Redmi.. Lol

Leica branding should increase brand positioning. Then why is Lite series discontinued if Xiaomi still using plastic frame on their product lineup?!

Anonymous, 14 hours agoBecause it was not, they mentioned it to the press. Kind... moreso is it officiall about the 4 years of OS Upgrades? it ships with Android 14 out of the box so is it going to get all the way to Android 18 or Android 19 cause Android 15 is just around the corner?

Not commenting on the phone, only about the concerns over updates. Users need to realize that this says volumes about the OS. Hardware is hardware, just like computers they can be used for a decade or way longer.

Sooner or later regulators will realize the game and we'll have another huge court case. This reminds me of the gaming loot box cases with regards to how users are being discreetly fleaced.

                      Cooktop is so ugly.
Should be vertical with led flash beside it.

I'd consider Xiaomi phone as I liked MIUI and current HyperOS and I generally have good experience with their products in general, but their software support is just so sad. It's short compared to competition and very inconsistent, with delays between Chinese and Global models, poor support when issues happen and in general just not very good. There is no way I'm gonna pay 1000€ and have all that when Samsung and even Apple offer much better software experience in general. They really need to step it up.

why they didn't talk about how long will be the Software update cycle ? is it 3 or 4 years ? or less ?
