          Anonymous, 01 Oct 2024You're missing the main point, the external hard drive... moreYes bro but filming 4k or 8k videos cost lot of battery like you have to carry your powerbank you can carry your external HDD along with OTG reduction to connect your phone to your HDD. Nowdays only lowest of the low phones have SD card slots premium flagsips dont have so you either have to use cloud storage or said other solution via external HDD.
          Like you said you were on some big action. Please dont tell me there wasnt any signal for your phone to use for cloud or so.

          Still even UFS 2.0 is way faster than any micro sd card.
          And from my personal experience had Samsung Evo 256GB card every week i were swapping it between phone and PC for storing some data just after 3 months card stopped working and needs to be formated all data been lost.
          No thanks not anymore had enough of negative experiences with SD cards.

            If you cant afford something like Yamaha, Bose or Hifiman brand quality earphones or headphones then its your your problem not mine fault.

If you're on the go, the SD card is already inside the phone... And on spotty areas, you can't use cloud. I get that it's not the way you do things, but that's what some people do. Buying more storage on the phones also adds such a premium on the phone. And most people use it as an extended storage, they transfer the files to the SD card after they take the videos (like 4k or 8k vids). I went to Kcon last August and I had a 256 GB storage on my phone, if it wasn't for the SD card that was in it, I would have not gotten all the pics and vids I wanted to take. The SD card I used is fast enough to do 4k videos too, with no drops in frames. I still back up my videos and pics on a hard drive when I get home but tbh, the SD card on my phone has saved me so many times from easily running out of storage. The main thing I love about the SD card is that I don't have to subscribe to cloud services. A lot of cloud services shrink your data to save space, transferring it to the SD card does not.

                  Now running Motorola edge 40 pro with 256GB disk space unless making 8K video not needed bigger disk space than 256GB i have.
                  External hard drives with 2TB disk space cost around 60-90 now. My one from Western digital element series the 5TB version costed 140 euros.
                  Dont know anyone who will need a phone with more than 256GB disk space unless he making 8K videos which takes big chunk of disk space. Or having millions of music in there.
                  Said external HDD is way cheaper and way better for storing your memories than risking the loosing SD card or breaking it by swapping it here and there every week or so.

                  Just my personal opinion.

                  Nowdays where you can buy a phone with 256GB or even a 512GB disk space option under 200 SD slots are prety useless.
                  Lastly like i said before even UFS 2.0 is way faster than fastest SD card on market.

                          It's not a bad product, just a bad price, if it's the slightly more than A55 it's probably worth it, but it's almost $200 for worse specs compared to Xiaomi.

                            Wireless audio is perfect enough for many people at least no broken cables.
                            Lastly any phone regardless of a brand have a micro SD slot.
                            You just need to buy right sim card.

                            Maybe you dont know but in some Asia regions you get both in one.
                            Sim card and Micro SD card.
