I am skipping this just because Samsung killed the higher tiered A-series (A7X, A8X, A9X) with this garbage they call a fan edition that doesn't have a headphone jack or a Micro SD slot. They are willing to put useless brackets and plastics just to fill in space on these phones if you look at teardown videos. And it's not like they have to add an additional DAC for the headphone jack... if your phone has speaker phone feature or has a built-in speaker, guess what? it already has a DAC. I want my quad DAC/amp included in a flagship phone like the LG G8/Sony experia series that could even power Audiophile-grade headphones up to 600Ω. Or at least an update of the A71 5G with up to 300Ω. I want a microSD slot so I could put my FLAC files in and if I ever run out of space while away from home, I want the option to not to have to get a subscription for very small amount of space from cloud services and could just transfer my files on the said microSD card.

I will just keep my a72 since this is more like an a74 that was never released just to be now more expensive.

        With s24U price? Pass

"No, I don't like the hardware"

Not having ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is a deal-breaker for me since I can get the vanilla S24/S23 for a little more cash. Also I expected more battery capacity, but Samsung was keen to not make it bigger than the S24+ (boo!). Chinese phones can be had with better battery capacity, charging speed, ram, cameras and decent software updates, which are *sometimes* enough to make up for the lack of ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and OneUI in their phones.

I DO like the inclusion of custom ISP (ProVisual engine) that they also introduced in their flagship lineup this year. Kudos to Samsung for that.

I don't like the hardware AND software.
I don't like the brand anymore.

Too big, bulky, and heavy. The S24+ has the same size screen, larger battery, and is smaller and lighter. No reason for this thing to be this bulky.

As much as I like Samsung, If I'm at this budget and want a large screen, I'm afraid I would prefer something like Vivo V40 Pro.

Here in Indonesia you can get it for pretty cheap price. 256gb storage for around 600 USD because of the preorder promo (and some free bonuses too). It might sound weird for some, but this will be an appropriate gift for older ppl that has eyes issues. Like my mom can’t see well with her standard S23 because the screen is too small. This will be great for her since she didn’t do much but needs STORAGE because all of the pictures shes taken and bunch of Whatsapp groups 😅

Chinese market's response to 8s G3 is not good since they said they "never witnessed any phone with 8s gen 3 have a good battery life". The iqoo Z9 turbo, equipped with this SoC, with a 6000 mAh battery, only has the same battery life as other chipsets' 5500 mAh. Without exynos and dimensity, their 8s gen 3 wouldn't even in their budget that they can afford.
