well that is sad......i really like a little curve on the sides its more beautiful and it feels better in hand even tho flat screen is more user friendly.........it seems i gotta wait for magic 7 pro to release,my next phone probably

ua82, 3 hours agoits micro curved so it actually looks flat, look at xiaomi ... moreIf you use normal tempered glass screen protectors then the sides aren't covered and gestures aren't ideal. There is also some discoloration in these screens when viewing from an angle. Definitely looks different than a flat screen

Just don't use a screen protector, problem solved. I personally find curved sides way more comfortable to hold. It's why I returned my iPhone 13 Pro Max, far too uncomfortable.

Aierlan, 3 hours agoIt is curved. Micro curved display. Curves on all four sidesyeah, micro-curved, flat they're the same basically but like, the bigger curves always have larger bezels. For example the Xiaomi 11-13 Ultra, X100 Pro, Oneplus 10-12, etc. Whereas stuff with smaller curves like the S22/S23 Ultra had more uniform and smaller bezels.

This is not a flat screen. It's a micro curved screen with curves on four sides. Even your first source that you've used from the project manager clearly states this.

Nice hopefully this means the Oneplus 13 gets the same screen, having had curved screen phone for 3 years would be great to move away from curved screen I dont see any practical use for it and is pain finding screen protector, only ones that work best are the UV tempered glass but pain to install and over time start lifting off

idk what it is about curved displays but they never seem to have great bezel control compared to flat ones. look at the really thin and uniform bezels of the x200. love it.

Flat side frame phones feels chunky... easier to hold like poco f3, note 20 ultra than smaller phone with flat side frames.. holding a soap vs rectangular bricks...
