    Finally they moved on from that low-end Dimensity 7050.
    But the problem is, it's only like 20% better.
    I wouldn't even call it a mid-range phone.

      mi 11 ultra is one of the beast till now.

Some phones like Xiaomi 14 Civi give 2 front cameras for ultrawide front option, requiring extra cutout in the screen, and extra canera sensor.

            I am saying that having a 2nd screen would cost the same compared to above options. And will give much better selfie quality as well. On top of that, 2nd screen can be used for other use cases as well.

            What the companies might charge, that's their business model. But the actual BOM and production cost of the device would be more or less same.

              For software updates, the only thing they should improve is, the quality one new features introduced in software updates.
              I'll be upgrading one of my phone from Agni 2 to 3 as they've the best after sales support.

                        Lava looks serious about it's comeback. Their recent devices have all been extreme bang for buck. They iust need to work on their software support now.

Doesn't increase the production price, but companies will charge you significantly more for a phone with such a feature, although it also depends on the price range of the phone.

                          If we were to pay for a phone the actual amount of money that is required to build it, then an iPhone wouldn't surpass $100 or so, for example

                            Not sure why other brands are not doing this. Doesn't even increase the price much (5$ max for LCD) as the display doesn't need to be high quality. I would love the option to turn all rear cameras for sefies with a small display.
