How does the Exynos 2400e compare to the full-fat Exynos 2400? What about the Apple A18 and Tensor G4?

      AdiCC, 5 hours agoFor a processor with 10 cores, the performance of the Exyno... moreConsidering the performance is similar, the cache setup will be the same as the normal 2400 (8mb of l3 I believe, gives up 8mb in comparison with the 8g3 for the sake of the extra a510s).

              You should check configuration of those cores, not just numbers.

                This one is slightly under clocked but practically same soc while 8s gen 3 is different soc with different gpu, isp, modem etc.

                  You Should have included 8s gen 3 as well cuz both are toned down versions of main flagship soc

                    Strange that you have not included any SD 8 Gen 2 phones, since some of them are cheaper than S24 FE and most will be after price drops. So it would be better to gauge it's performance against 8 Gen 2 devices.

                        For a processor with 10 cores, the performance of the Exynos 2400e does not impress. The Apple A18 has only 6 cores and is a more powerful processor. You haven't mentioned anything about the maximum level of cache memory on this processor, a very important aspect.

                          Zero, 6 hours agoGPU is underclocked, check the S24 one and blows the iPhone... moreI think they should upped the A5X or the whole range of A series instead. In some markets like my country (South East Asia) the price for A5X and S24FE are dangerously close to each other (150 USD difference). A new mid range tier will make the whole product offerings more confusing.

                            Small correction: In one sentence you say that the CPU is 1 X-core, 5xA720 and 2xA520 when really it's 4xA520.

                              I visited Samsung Store and the S24 FE feels better, much better than S23 FE, but the display looks quite strange.

                                Good upgrade over the S23 FE.

                                Shame on the Tensor G4... Google better come up with something good for their G5.

                                  The GPU must have been under locked to save battery. It seems Samsung just wanted to make an efficient Exynos 2400, so they said: "let's just call it the 2400e 🤓☝️".

                                    Heck, Exynos turned to be competitive again and they should rename it to a superior Exynos for a resurrected A7X series. The difference between S FE and A5X leaves space for a mid tier one.

                                        Maybe bulky chasis? Meaning a better thermal management. If yes, i started to fear of s25 ultra which has thinner frame
