It's why I understand in a way why Apple is locking down components. It sucks for repairability, but helps for second hand because it ensures stuff is legit and not botched together.

Power draw = heat, I think we could improve thermals by going back as well.

I’m not a fan of dark modes as such, and this wasn’t a problem with LCD.

I absolutely hate the warm color of an OLED screen compared to a cold display of an LCD. iOS by default is a white UI and OLED cannot do a white color while LCD can do it perfectly. I'll trade off extreme blacks for a superior white color any day of the week.

I wish it was the Mini 💔

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2024I might consider it IF they retain the SE sizeIt will be same size as the 14 if they use that model to make it as a SE
Just like with the previous SE they have the same size as the model they took it from

Everybody already knows this about the SE4 since last year. In fact, everybody already knows about the SE4 and the 17/17 Pro. It would be more helpful for these analysts to start talking about iPhone 18 onwards, or anything about a new iPad mini. But nope, meaning that in reality he doesn't have anything, so he simply rehasing old news.

Best part of Android is that we still have the option for three-button navigation. Apple gave up on the home button, and never even had an always available back button.

Keep Apple Intelligence out by having older hardware and keep the cost down. Anyway this cheaper iPhone with latest hardware marketing ploy is just that, a ploy. I had the latest iPhone SE which had the same processor as the iPhone 13 and 4GB ram. But the SE took noticeably longer than the 13 to connect to WiFi. And sold it because it started having a serious battery issue after a few months of use. Got the 13 instead.
