DeusExMachina, 04 Oct 2024Who gives a damn when the software is crap to begin with. F... moreThis is a piss pour comment from some freak show, who think's he's cool - but perhaps just a 20 year old, playing keyboard warrior. Get a life, kid !

FYI, HyperOS is not a friggin iOS Shit Show clone. 2nd, the HW is the *best* bar none, into every price class, you simply can't make this shit up! Samsung, Real Me, Oppo, whatever - they all have less good HW specs into a given price point, period.

Last, but not least, i am using Xiaomi since the Redmi Note 3 Pro - you can't make this shit up, tell me anything about it.

Not even considering higher density batteries? And they have their own qc problems, both with software and hardware

I tossed my A53 due to the crappy fingerprint reader and useless facialscanner.
Got myself a nice Honor V70 for a lower price, better soft and hardware.

We aren't all focussed blind in Samsung:-)

Who gives a damn when the software is crap to begin with. For starters HyperOS is a piss-poor, cheap iOS knockoff. Hardware quality is also very questionable. You need to do better Xiaomi! #RealLifeUsageMatters

Pro variant may be comparable to 14 Ultra.

Looks interesting one of them will end as a Xmas gift depends on availability here in Slovakia among network carriers.

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2024Xiaomi 14 is 71.5mm, so your comment are wrongXiaomi 14 was released in 2024? /facepalm

Tush, 02 Oct 2024Will there be a charger in the box or, like 14t series, 15 ... moreIt will launch first in China. Pretty sure they'll have a charger in the box as the last time they tried no charger in the box with a flagship series was the Xiaomi 11 there was huge uproar so they ended up offering free chargers separately. This ended up being worse for the environment and costing more money as the chargers have extra packaging and there are two packages to deliver instead of one. I see some people are claiming the EU has new rules about including chargers. I think that seems correct. DXOMARK states 'Last year the European Council, Commission and Parliament agreed on new legislation whose principal aim is to reduce electronic waste and emissions in the EU. As a result, all new smartphones, tablets, cameras and other electronic gadgets marketed in the EU will have to come with a USB-C charging port by fall 2024. In addition, chargers will be unbundled from devices, giving consumers the choice whether to buy a new charger with a device or keep using the old one'

I have seen a leaked poster showing October 23, which makes more sense as it is on Wednesday. Oct 20th is on Sunday, a bit weird for a release.

The Magic 7 looks sharp. Won't work well in the US, but, it looks nice.

MihaiRo, 02 Oct 2024Honor have a good hardware but unfortunatelly the release o... moreBlame that on Google. Google only require quarterly security updates for 2 years from OEMs. Thus most OEMs only do the bare minimum.

i wish magic 7 change that back camera design of magic 6 (in my opinion) because it looks so weird and kinda ugly (whose idea was to put another circle on top of that rounded square ? it looks so complicated and unnecessary )

Aan2007, 02 Oct 2024Just another tablet/remote control from Xiaomi. Did you ... moreSo where are big screen phones? Very many phones have 6,67"-6,82" 20:9 screens, but not many 6,9" and above, unless it's 20,5:9 screen.

Honor have a good hardware but unfortunatelly the release of the updates, security updates (4 per year) and OS updates ,after nearly half year behind Samsung makes me considering nota buying a phone from this brand again! Now I owe 6 Magic Pro but besides updates also the accesories are nearly imposibile too ,tot fiind ,especially tempered glass for their curved screen!

Just another tablet/remote control from Xiaomi.

Did you know Xiaomi didn't release a single phone with smaller width than 72mm in 2024? Same goes for Vivo, OPPO, Huawei or Honor.

                                        Ok skip 15, I'm waiting for 16.
