An actual current-year flagship chip (effectively), and in a year where Exynos wasn't as far behind Snapdragon as it used to be - this is an FE that actually has a perfectly logical place in the market as long as it has price separation from the S24+.

The RAM gap would be the biggest issue I'd have recommending it to others who just want a phone they can casually keep as a daily driver for many years; the optical fingerprint sensor is why I won't be getting one myself. But after a period of the FE going from Fan Edition to Freaking Ewww, this is... Actually a perfectly reasonable S24 Lite at least and at most, and both it and the Plus actually have reason to coexist right now.

Dagon96, 7 hours agoDo you think ram plays you games? :))Yes it does since it has shared memory meaning graphically intensive games can eat more ram.

"Both phones use aluminum for their frame, but there's a slight difference in the glass Samsung uses for each model. While the Galaxy S24 features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for greater durability, the Galaxy S24 FE features the older Gorilla Glass Victus Plus."
