Why there is no lite version of Samsung nowadays
Few years back I purchased S10 lite that was very good at that time with decent features.Still I am using it but I don't find a lite version after that

Is this $650 price Before tax in the US?

I remember when samsung intriduced the Galaxy Note FE, it was an improvement over the vanilla model before FE, thus the name Fan Edition. The FE used to breathe new life into an out-going model, and more accurately a fan-service. Nowadays FE dont really fit anywhere.

This FE model bound to fail however better or not. Till its released along with its main models, it will fail all the time. It's simple. When its released the s24 plus model price either low or equal to the FE model. Then why would people buy lower version and higher price phone. Samsung remember it will always fail all the years till its released along with the main models. Take me as advisor I will improve your business

Dagon96, 03 Oct 2024Do you think ram plays you games? :))Yes. Also less chance of the game restarting when sent to the background. Possibly giving ability to play multiple games for the hardcore type too.

I currently have a 5 year old S10+. When I checked the stats there doesn't seem to be a drastic difference and in some cases the S24 FE is worse. (8 GB, 128G, 1080 screen, no headphone, no SD card, etc) How can a company that is based on consistant innovation, reduce quality over a span of 5 years. The S24 FE will be outdated in 6 months, will the reduce the quality of the next edition?

An actual current-year flagship chip (effectively), and in a year where Exynos wasn't as far behind Snapdragon as it used to be - this is an FE that actually has a perfectly logical place in the market as long as it has price separation from the S24+.

The RAM gap would be the biggest issue I'd have recommending it to others who just want a phone they can casually keep as a daily driver for many years; the optical fingerprint sensor is why I won't be getting one myself. But after a period of the FE going from Fan Edition to Freaking Ewww, this is... Actually a perfectly reasonable S24 Lite at least and at most, and both it and the Plus actually have reason to coexist right now.

Dagon96, 03 Oct 2024Do you think ram plays you games? :))Yes it does since it has shared memory meaning graphically intensive games can eat more ram.
