I think Fold 6 is water resistant IP48. Only issue is it is not made of Titanium even then it is durable like any iPhone Pro Max. Fold 6 if offered at $1200 then it is a steal IMO!

Since the main screen durability is laughable since fold 1 up to fold 6 all of them are scratchable by nail. Mohs pick 5-6 would tear the screen into scrap its a no for me regardless of a price. I wouldntbuy even if i can have it for free.
          With my usual luck said foldable phone will be dead within 24 hours just because the main screen durability is equal to a soap stone and its paper thin.

Litterary every flagship on the market is much much better maybe apart the updates but since i keep my phones for 2 years and then sells them when they still have good value and buy a new device said more than 2 OS updates have no value for me.
              Other flagships have less bloatware (No UI or much less apps preinstalled), much faster charging speeds charger in box, much better screens some have 144 or even 165hz with minimum or zero curved screens and screen is way brighter, much better CPU and GPU (No crappy exynos on board), much better cameras front and back, many more accesories in box and many else also dont cost 1500-2200 first day after release.
              But i understand your pick.

                Wait, are you telling me that the Z Fold 6 is costing only $1200? Seriously? Omg that's amazing, but there's a bit of a problem, I don't hate myself enough to buy some garbage from this hahaha.

                  Foldables are only best at being gimmicks.

                            Samsung has to adapt because Z6 sales are struggling, but analyst said there would be an overall drop in foldable sales this year.

                            Honor is also offering 300 off the V3 and they've been offering more off the V2. That is one of the reasons it sold well in Q1 and Q2. In the past Samsung has never offered direct discounts unless it involved a trade-in. Right now, a Z5 is still listed at MSRP, which shows how stubborn Samsung can be. It is my belief they increased the price on the Z6 because they didn't want to drop the MSRP of the Z5 fold. They weren't going to price them both at $1799 because no one would consider buying those remaining Z5's.

They are premium and luxury products hence they are not expected to sell in big numbers. The price reduction is to kill the sales of iPhone 16 Pro Max by reducing the prices so much. At this price I would prefer to try out Fold 6 than go for much higher priced iPhone 16 Pro Max

                                  Heating up the contest by substantially reducing prices. Fold 6 at this price is real killer! Not a bad move by Samsung.
