The company allegedly hasn't given up on the technology.

AR glasses? I guess Apple is following after Meta already, but to be fair they probably knew the Vision Pro was cumbersome already before the Orion was shown to the public.
Either way it'll be interesting to see what they do to make the Vision smaller... and cheaper. Taking a bet right here and now the next Vision will probably require an iPhone.

PWM (yes not all LCD are without PWM) and temporal dithering (major headache because of rapid flickering of pixels to create larger color space).

In majority of OLED displays at least temporal dithering is not present. But PWM is inevitable in OLED.

But people blindly trust LCD displays even if it is using very bad PWM implementation.

            Micr-oled

If you are smart then you only buy device with IPS LCD screen which are much more eye friendly than trash_oled

Hmm, one of these days a janitor's going to discover the AppleEV under a tarp and maybe restart the e-iCar.

I hope apple to do the same for Ipads also (microLED). The Oled bet from the Koreans(LG, SAMSUNG) is Lost. Only microLED can compete with the Chinese tech invasion.
