- screen/body protection: it's more than enough. Don't play basketball with your phones maybe.
- wet screen touch issues (ghost touches)? What phones don't have ghost touches when the screen is wet? Legit curious
- not ergonomical to hold? Tf? Have you even held it?
- overpriced? not at all, especially when compared to Samesung phones
- poor "funtouch os" for india? Not just India. Funtouch is for non-China markets. And there's nothing inherently wrong with it, it's just okay.
- poor audio? Buy headphones
- resale is damn pathetic? And how is that Vivo's fault? You can thank Samesheep and other sheep for poor resale value on most brands phones.

    I really appreciate vivo for work on CAMERA (samsung / apple should learn)

        Theoretically speaking, 1/1.28 should always be inferior to the 1 inch, tho I don't understand all those double layer stuff. I will just wait for the real world comparison before deciding this or the x100p

              Anonymous, 12 Oct 2024old x100p's imx989 is 1" type sensor. new x200p h... moreBro the the imx989 is an old 1" sensor not all 1" sensors are the same ,the x100p and ultra both has 1" sensor but we know that one is better than rhe other, the one on the x200p is a bit smaller but newer and has more advanced and efficient technology + better processing prowess
              It should easily do better than the x100p, oh it also has a wider aperture haha

                    BMHater12, 11 Oct 2024That macro from the telephoto looks pretty insane most likely AI edited or something but whatever the case, this telephoto cam takes the best macros on mobile phones. Look at the X100 Ultra's macro samples from people like TechNick, ben's gadget reviews, Through Jermaine's Lens, LL Techview, etc. and you'll see that the macros are truly exceptional.

It doesn't use the stacked 2-layer transistor design but this is still a cutting-edge sensor in terms of the included tech.

                                Anonymous, 12 Oct 2024all videos i've seen against x100 ultra, vivo had bett... moreVivo has great video sometimes but the iphone is consistently "good" 6-7/10 whereas Vivo jumps between 5-8/10. Consistency in video is sorely lacking. The consistency of the lens switching is poor on Vivo too, not the speed, that's great! im talking about the way the video looks, iPhone's different lenses look closer to each other than Vivo's.

                                Xiaomi's videography is better than Vivo's for the most part but is further lacking in consistency. Look at The Tech Phenomena on youtube, he has some excellent videos on the X100 Pro, 14 Ultra, iPhone 15 Pro, etc. There's also TechTablets and TechNick who've made comparisons.

                                Vivo consistently takes 8+/10 photos. I just wish they consistently took 7+/10 videos as well that's all. They've improved immensely in the past few years, i know, but Apple's improving as well. We need some proper HDR implementation on Vivo like Sony's exceptional HLG videos. Look at LL Techview's Xperia HDR test on youtube and you'll get what I mean, the video looks natural but there's the HDR pop.

                                I hope this helps. Vivo's videography isn't bad at all it's just that scamsung, Apple and Google are focusing on videography more and more and even though their photography is bad-medicore, their videography looks better OVERALL than Vivo's.
