Xbox games will be sold directly through the Xbox app on Android starting next month

This announcement comes in the wake of a recent US court ruling, that mandated Google restructure its Play Store to allow third-party app store access.

          I m from India and I m using Xbox series but unable to purchase any games and game pass due to euros and dollars why can’t I purchase in my local currency or even I have been trying to pay USD still it asks for a local address and local cards details that’s really pathetic.

            Well expect google either to erase xbox app from play store or will force you to pay for every purchase made.
            Cringe times we live in.

              Not all users. This is for Xbox owners with Xbox account can purchase games through Xbox app play store and hook it up via Bluetooth connectivity to play it on Android.

                I will be thrilled when they will expand Xbox Live service to more countries.

                  thought they meant xbox games are coming to android but guess they mean you can now buy games on your xbox account through the app but xbox games cant be played on your phone

                        Confusing choice of words. Either she means that you can buy the games via Android App and olay them on console or you can olay them directly on your phone too. I think the former is correct, I cannot believe that you can play Xbox games on Android just like that.

Playing native offcourse requires the softwares to be ported, but with xbox one can always live stream without latency, best in class, faster then Nvidia G sync and Apple Airplay, so no need to install a thing also one can use the very intuitive xbox controller.

                            Xbox is off base. They need more fun games. I don't need a way to spend more money. I need a reason to spend the money and xbox has lost that.

                              Don't understand. Will we be able to download and play games on smartphone or what?

                                Android xbox game pass sounds like a good idea. Sad that commies had to force their way into the market for it to be that way though.
