            PepperPot, 12 Oct 2024Looks like Apple's button will be more mainstream than... moreHuawei's triple folding mechanism is more of a technical showcase of how far they have come despite all the sanctions, whereas Apple's Camera Control button isn't an innovation, but rather an improvement over Sony's shutter button concept-wise. It literally makes no sense to compare the two lol.

              Looks like Apple's button will be more mainstream than Huawei's triple foldable. Sometimes the key to innovation is keeping it simple.

                  Hopefully they'll allow reconfiguration of the function of this quick capture button.

                              A real physical button is much better than the capacitive one.

                                  Dear Oppo. Phones have feature to use volume buttons for capturing which solves your problem.

                                  Maybe it's time for use your phones instead of Apples.

                                    At least Apple encouraged other brands to bring back the camera button. And Oppo is right, a normal button is all that we need, not that useless camera control BS, kust a normal 2 stage shutter. I would love to see a feature like on professional cameras where you select the focus spot and use only the button to half press to focus, makes composing so much easier

                                        It was obviously not gonna have if iphone did not have one.
                                        It could have been done to all previous find x gens, but nothing.
