GPS data recording is also wrong. After the Software update, the first reading will be good, subsequent readings will not be perfect and GPS will not work after some point. this happened after 2 software updates..

I had been waiting for their review. I wanted to buy it for my birthday (september) then when it didn't come out until the first week of October, i gave in and bought it cause i thought "f*** it, i want a smart watch, i have a Nothing phone and the colours are cool" i am happy with it. I am writing this only because i bought it exactly two days before the review came out and i saw the it today and i thought it was really funny. Had i waited two more days. But i had a separate learning of buying something just because you want to buy it. I've wanted a health monitoring thing since Nike+ SportsBand came out in 2009 but never bought anything.
Although i bought the orange leather strap and it provides some amount of discomfort due to the seasonal change currently. I believe the sillicon straps would be more comfortable. It's a wiser option to buy the round bevel if you tend to hit your wrists here and there.

Bought the cmf watch, no issues with the watch itself but the CMF software constantly disconnects, I'm even using a nothing phone 2... Nothing support suggested locking the app in recents, a feature their phones simply do not have... Tbh they are a joke.
I have a Garmin that works perfectly, Sammy watch that works perfectly, mont blanc and a Huawei... All working fine.
The CMF software kills itself even if you leave it open In regents... No optimisation for battery in apps, it just doesn't do what it's meant to do.
The software for the CMF 2 is identical and as such the issues still persist... So I've no idea why this review suggests it's seamless, connecting yes but not remaining connected.
Avoid at all costs if you actually want to receive notifications of any kind... You know like it's main purpose?

Sasquatch , 14 Oct 2024You state in your review that you tested it swimming, I can... moreDon't know why you conned the battery life, I can run mine for 3+ days in normal mode w/out recharging (statement from CMF is that in battery saver you can get 48 Days - that's better than most wearables on the market).
The watch is IPx68 water resistant - haven't chanced how good it's resistance is in the water (have a habit of taking my watches off when swimming).

From the app Connectivity section it clearly understood that you don't use this product for a while . It having auto brightness issue if it not using. always disconnected while closing the app form phone. Battery is upto 2 days only when you turn on Heart rate . during long term use watch faces get bored. No updates for it.
I have used multiple watches but this one irritated me most

You state in your review that you tested it swimming, I can't find anywhere that says it's is water proof. Can you confirm if this is suitable for swimming as it's the only thing holding me back from buying one.
