Im Using GT4 since it is released. im having a problem updating its GPS since last month and i dont think im gonna use this again.

      Nick, 13 Oct 2024There is a lot of sensor in this watch from barometer, temp... moreYeah but it lacks a ordinance worth battery, heart rate doesn't has a sensor so it uses Red/Green IR sensor which is natively made for Saturation measurement they claim counts BP which is difficult to accept as their data models are based of similar size people add that with the first problem of small battery which implies it can't calculate BP, good for them they don't have regulatory in their country can market anything.

          Samsung's watch ultra got an only ø37.3mm display in a huge 47.4mm case, that is not even round so their screen to surface ratio is embarrassing low around 50%!!

          The Huawei GT5 pair are (at the least) less bad here. Around 67% for the 41mm and 62% for the oversized one.

              There is a lot of sensor in this watch from barometer, temperature, heart rate etc. with the usual jazz like nfc.. up to 7 day battery.

                thicker uniformal bezels dont bother as much as non-uniformal ones.

                  Bezels. A heavy-duty protective physical bezel around the circumfrance of the watch AND another way-too large on-display bezel reducing the size of the display surface!? This on-display is totally unnecessary and needs to be eliminated. Only Apple, so far, has significantly reduced the on-display bezel but still not elimated them. This is a waste of valuable screen real estate and should be eliminated totally.

                    The bezels of the 41mm model is 3.7mm and that is OK, but the 4.8mm of the 46mm model seems huge in 2024...

                    A cheap Chinese watch like the DA09 can fit a 1.43" amoled display in a 43.1mm body (that is just 7.75mm thick BTW, INcluding protrusion). See e.g. my review here https://eskerahn.dk/?p=6469

                    If they can do it in a watch in the $25 range, it should be easy for a larger player like Huawei that can use more exclusive components with their MUCH higher price-tag....
