I Am GoD 9, 12 Oct 2024Touché. The 8.X Pro tablet is neglected for Android There's like 3 variants of Lenovo Y700 already.

    well why are we still using LCD in 2024??? It's bad for the eyes, switch to AMOLED/OLED

Again you... morelmao I'm refering to that iPlay with Snapdragon 6 Gen1, just recently released. and yes, G99 is too week because I owned a similar Dimensity 810 powered phone from Xiaomi. I play music games and some simulator games on tablet.

      So the basic list of features is like this:
      Snapdragon 7 Plus / Dimensity 8000 level performance
      at least 8GB of RAM+ TF Card slot
      Celluar+GNSS
      8-inch-ish display
      USB 3.1 Gen 1 with video out

      Desirably, the pad would have:
      eSIM support
      any kind of formal HDR cert
      ingress protection

      well, I'm just wishing for an 8 inch version of Galaxy Tab S9 5G

Literally it is a device for people who just want a tablet and don't know what to do with it. The experience is overall ok for basic usage, just ok-ish.

              I end up giving it to my mom for watching youtube videos while cooking

Dimensity is suitable for tablet. It has super fast CPU but has higher temperature and power consumption. So manufaturer can put larger cooler and battery than their phones.

                      Vanila Pad 7 better has D8300 and Pad 7 Pro has 9200 / 9200+. They are cheaper than Snapdragon of course. Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 should be put on global Redmi Note 14 Pro+.

At least that is in my country in Baltics Europe.

The user experience is...hideous. It is just for someone who want a tablet but don't want to invest much, also not knowing what to do with a tab. But it does have celluar+GNSS.
