It may turn out to be less annoying than using flashlight as notification alert, but the very concept of using lights that alert anyone but the user of the phone when it's held in the hand - that is still annoying and dumb.
And it's not "just an option", since it's inseparable and is included in the phone's price.

            xPandamon, 4 hours agoWhy.For notifications? Having phone laying face down , different colours for different alerts ? Can simply Turn it off if you don't want it

            I guess now with always on display it isn't as important for notifications but I don't mind more options can simply turn it off

                  Adding RGB on a phone is like adding NOS to a wheelchair.

                    Pricing should be aggresive this time otherwise it has no meaning in today's world. Camera has been biggest downgrade in the years.
