Anonymous, 15 Oct 2024Nothing for pixel 9 Pro, this sucks!!"The Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro Fold are not on the list, but they will be updated too, of course. They did launch with Android 14, despite coming out later on September 9 instead of August 22 like the 9 and 9 Pro XL."
Why can't people read :(

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2024They can barely run out of box version. Imagine the latest I have been on 15 for a few months now. I got the 8 pro and before that I had the 6 pro. Both were on the 15 beta. My 8 is on the beta qpr1. My phone works fantastic. Battery life is great there is nothing but smoothness. I don't really understand what the holdup was rolling out the 15 public Release. I read they wanted to squash as many bugs as possible. But the best way to do that (and I hate to say this) is to roll it out to the public. There are not enough people beta testing to catch all the bugs quick enough. That's why every year when new version is rolled out there are reports of bugs almost right away. Either there is a big that most people don't really notice because they don't use their phone for that type of application or just doesn't happen consistently. A public rollout is the only way to evolve an os efficiently

Forgot to mention the 80% battery percentage cap that Samsung already did (85%) on their phones back in 2021. Pixel won't charge above 80% which can prolong the lifespan of the battery following the 80/40 or 80/20 rule. This will appear on their Pixels first.

so weird in these comments all the pixel hate. I have a 7 pro i bought at a great price, the phones pictures still surprise iPhone users with the quality and the battery life is far superior to my iPhone 15 pro.

All hardware undertaken by Google should have it optional to update beta updates.

For most of them it's irrelevant since they are already bricked.
