            idkBg091, 3 hours agoImagine using Sony imx906 same as Galaxy a55, 14T , honor 2... moreImagine being so dumb that you STILL can't fathom that flagship killers will ALWAYS sacrifice the camera for raw performance, despite this compromise being THE STANDARD of this industry ever since flagship killers became a thing.

            Imagine being so disconnected from the real world because you're chronically online that you still don't know that the cast majority of people are willing to take that compromise, because a powerful SoC + a passable camera will always be more desirable than a passable SoC + a great camera, because people rely on the SoC to power everything on their phone while tye camera will always be secondary hardware that they only use occasionally, and no matter how great that camera is, they will STILL be shooting on a damn phone that will get absolutely annihilated by a DSLR anyway.

            Imagine thinking Pro, Plus, Ultra, Turbo and all these goofy monikers matter in the first place.

              Not buying this trash because realme does not allow bootloader unlock by default. That means you can't even root realme phones and customize them. How boring.
              Better stay with Xiaomi and you won't regret it.

In case you haven't noticed, pretty much all Chinese smartphone manufacturers are readying major flagship launch events this month, as MediaTek and Qualcomm are both releasing their top-of-the-line chipsets. So of course they all rushing to release their flagships, so that they can be among the first that use the new silicon

                    I'm guessing the announcement of SD8Gen4 is what OnePlus waiting for as well for it's release of the OnePlus 13.

                      So the SD 8s gen 3 on board top tier snapdragon chipset but to make it affordable.

                        I do hope Realme release it globally and bring some much needed competition in the global market.

                          Anonymous, 4 hours agoNo, find x8 has 1/1,56" main cam just like predecessor... moreNo. This is not the same as the predecessor. The find x7 has an LYT-808, the same as the oneplus 12. They list this clearly on their official website, where it is stated as 1/1.4" but I guess they've rounded it down from 1/1.43". Also the LYT-808 has a bigger pixel size too.
                          Thus they are indeed downgrading the main camera. The find x8 pro will use the same main camera as the find x7 did last year.

                            hopefully the phone won't have the terrible 8 mp uw cam.

This year the standard flagship models for the big Chinese brands are basically either almost maintaining the same cameras as last year (e.g. Vivo x100, likely also Xiaomi 15) or actually downgrading them (e.g. Realme gt7 pro, OPPO find x8, IQOO 13). Cameras seem to be taking the hit for the rise in the cost of some components

                                  Am I the only one wondering why there wasn't a GT6 Pro? Like why did they jump directly to the GT7 Pro?

                                    Nice phone that is only sold in China...

                                        The GT5 Pro was already like that, but it had an 8mp ultrawide, so that's what Realme should work on, not their already great periscope lenses.
