    The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 pairs an all-performance-core CPU design with an Immortalis-G925 GPU. The new GPU appears to be a performance and efficiency champ, as it reportedly consumes the same energy as the A18 Pro while significantly beating the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. What's more, MediaTek's chip seemingly runs cooler than all the competitors

    When tested with Genshin Impact, the Dimensity 9400 inside the Vivo X200 Pro only consumed around 4.4 W. The Apple A18 Pro inside the iPhone 16 Pro essentially matched this figure with a consumption of 4.3 W.

    On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Xiaomi 14 Ultra) and the Dimensity 9300 (Vivo X100S) consumed a whopping 5.8 and 5.4 W respectively. The power consumption of the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the Red Magic 9S Pro was even higher at 6.3 W.

    To put these figures into perspective, the Dimensity 9400 shows a power consumption advantage of 18.5% vs the Dimensity 9300+ and an even more impressive 24% vs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra

          It does not require silicon-carbon to do it.

          Battery A: 7cm height x 5 cm width x 0,4cm thick
          Battery B : 7,7 cm height x 5,3 cm width x 0.3 cm thick

          This example, battery B can easily have larger capacity while thinner.
          This is what is seen on tablets, they are thin.

If it can do better with this sensor due to isp upgrade or improved algorithms then it would do better again with a better sensor. I tried the find X7 camera though and it was very good. The aperture has also been narrowed to F1.8 compared to F1.6. Hardware is worse that's the point and if they used better hardware they can definitely achieve better results.

                  Also the original point was about thickness and weight whilst increasing capacity which should be credited

                      X8u is indeed going international. But zero chance in Europe it is below €1500.
                      X5 Pro was 1300 years ago.

                              Great to see innovation in battery technology which should be credited , clap Vivo , oppo , Xiaomi, OnePlus, guessing some others will follow

                                      Cameras are disappointing on the Find x8 if today's leaked specs are true. A downgrade from last year for the cameras overall. A downgraded main camera. Same ultrawide and the periscope is about the same. Basically a rebranded imx766 which is a bit lame in the latest flagship especially considering it's worse than last year. Similar to the Vivo x200. Expected them to keep the Lyt808 from last year
