Samsung says a new Galaxy is coming on October 21, could be the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition

Its starting to get BORING, like Iphone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 AND 16.......

    or it could be the XCover8 Pro that will replace my XCover6 Pro

        Samsung should have launch this instead of the Z Fold 5 or 6, sitting on its laurel for far too long; instead of market leader in hardware Foldables, it is panicking now and playing catch-up to all the superior hardware of the Chinese Foldables and even Google Pixel Fold has better specs than Samsung, it is just sad being a Samsung Foldable fan that I have to end up with Pixel 9 Fold because Samsung refuses to update its poor hardware iteration specs; mainly the tiny front screen width, small battery, poor cameras specs and still no S-pen silo. If they can adress those then I might reconsider untill then....Adios Sammy.

              Samsung left themselves open to falling behind on the hardware front. Maybe they got too comfortable. Maybe they were waiting for Apple's involvement. Maybe they didn't know where to go with the hardware. Fortunately for them, those advantages have not pushed foldables mainstream. It's been 5 years and the Z Flip remains the most popular foldable. It's evident the best chance foldables have to take a chunk out of slab phone sales is through Apple.

              By the time Apple gets onboard in 2-4 years, there will be no hardware gap. There is barely a hardware gap now outside of what spec chasers, niche consumers and youtube tech reviewers say. Also, by that time Samsung will be using solid state batteries in their mobiles and wearables. Solid State batteries will be a game changer for Samsung.

                So basically what the OG fold 6 should have been, but with a healthy price increase, nowt like screwing your customers over big time with this launch

                          This is the first foldable phone I’ve had and I’ve got to say, so far I’m impressed. I’ve always had Samsung phones but had not been tempted to try the Foldable range until now. Whilst there are a few features the Fold lacks compared to the single screen phones I’ve used previously, this is more than made up for with the added functionality of the larger display and the enhanced AI.

                            chinese companies are driving innovation in phones, from fast charging to battery health / longevity, improved durability, IP ratings and drop resistance etc, meanwhile companies like samsung just chasing bigger on-paper numbers and copying apple as usual
