              What is wrong with this article? The numbers are all over the place. The title says 3GB, the article says 24GB, but twice as much as last year's 16GB (so 32GB)? The grammar is off too

                          This looks like a hhuge leap but believe the price will do alsoa huge leap.

                            1. It's GDDR memory, it's not for smartphones (they usually use LPDDR type of memory).
                            2. It's 24 gigabit modules, which equals 3 gigabyte. So, a video card with 8 of these modules will have 24 gigabytes of memory (like RX 7900 XTX or RTX 4090).

                                24GB of fast memory? Sounds rather nice! I don't need that much RAM in my phone, but could definitely make use of more RAM in my laptop.

                                hmm why don't they use 3nm manufacturing process to make these memory chips? It would make the memory chips very costly, sure, but also very power efficient.
