Wanna bet that the best selling iPhone will become the iPhone SE4. Unless they make it really bad.
Also, people buy iPhones sometimes because of convenience. I had iPhones for the last couple of years, just because my last 2 girlfriends had iPhones and they wanted to communicate via iMessage and FaceTime. I don't have social media accounts, and they didn't use WhatsApp that much. And I know many people in similar situations like me.
True, now with this RCS Chat thing, maybe it will get better, but I think it will not be as native communication as from 2 iPhones.

I have a SD 8s gen 3 phone with about 1.5 million points in Antutu. And the phone is very fast and smooth in everything I do on it (including games). I mean, what do people will do with all those 3 million points? Facebook and Instagram, lol?
Also, I can't even imagine how the battery life will be and the heating on those smartphones. No, thank you.
Also the price of the phones that will come with this chipset. I am pretty sure it will be over 1000EUR.
So yeah.. good luck guys, lol.

Apple is nowhere to be seen because Pro iPhones still are way more expensive than the Ultras. But that lead is just because of Samsung's more affordable phones, in the premium market share iPhones demolish the S series with a 83% market share.

Everything. 2nm or next year it will be last generation of 3nm node. It better be efficient. Pixel 9 Pro XL has been giving two days of battery life after A15 update. Like that battery life I am expecting from snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

The reason being Exynos is not on par with snapdragon counterpart. For that matter, even Mediatek 9200/9300/9400 has surpassed Exynos. S25 will use Snapdragon hence. For that matter, S25FE will use Dimensity 9400 next year. No innovation at all. Same sensors since years.

Am expecting snapdragon elite to be a very fast chip with poor battery efficiency (the core clock speeds on a passively cooled device is a recipe for higher operating temperature) while it's MediaTek counterpart will be slightly slower with better battery efficiency.

Almost everywhere I go be it here in GSM or in Nanoreview, there are fanboys so vocal about emulation who are somewhat unaware of what Nintendo has been doing to a couple of Switch emulators for the past few months or so. If Sony decides to follow suit and attack against PS emulation, it's painful but it may be the only way to keep everyone in check

Ok, now we know it has enough raw power for performance.
But how about thermal management and battery control?
We'll see how it turns out after the event.
Tbh im kinda excited. This chip is a beast, and if it can manage to keep heat and battery under control then no doubt it's gonna crush the A18 pro.

they said Android 15 boost the performance of every device.so if its true maybe the sd8 gen 3 with 2m score can get atleast 2.2m. but still not sure.
