let's hope the temperature won't reach 200°C when playing game 🥶

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2024All this to satisfy those that turn cellphone into PlayStat... moreAgreed. Almost everywhere I go be it here in GSM or in Nanoreview, there are fanboys so vocal about emulation who are somewhat unaware of what Nintendo has been doing to a couple of Switch emulators for the past few months or so. If Sony decides to follow suit and attack against PS emulation, it's painful but it may be the only way to keep everyone in check

Ok, now we know it has enough raw power for performance.
But how about thermal management and battery control?
We'll see how it turns out after the event.
Tbh im kinda excited. This chip is a beast, and if it can manage to keep heat and battery under control then no doubt it's gonna crush the A18 pro.

Don't worry guys, this will compete directly with the Google Pixel 9XL.
You will pay double the price for half the efficiency and a third of the performance.

they said Android 15 boost the performance of every device.so if its true maybe the sd8 gen 3 with 2m score can get atleast 2.2m. but still not sure.

Good by can it run crysis?

outright performance is not everything. Power efficiency and thermal management matters too

                    Slapdragon ftw!

Now lets see what the Apple-paid Geekbench says

                        nice

                          No efficiency cores?

So they're going the MediaTek route.

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2024Another screenshot shows over 90 Celsius degree. This is ... moreThat article is quite trivial and questionable. It claims it dissipates 20w however no phone device dissipates that. In terms of temperature 90-100° chips is common what's not common is that the guy claims it happened during normal use and the chip apparently didn't throttle or cool down, but in terms of temperature some people get confused but it's actually the chip itself that's hot not the entire phone itself.

The dimensity 9400 is performing very well for battery life compared to the previous generation. It will only be just over a week when phones will launch with the snapdragon 8 elite so we'll be able to see some battery life tests then to see how it does.

A typic... moreI think it depends on how companies use these chips and optimize them for their specific devices. You'll see some phones with better battery life and performance than others even though it's the same chipset. This new Oryon chip seems to be good but also depends on how well the phone has been optimized with the chip itself.

Hopping the stability test will be good
