its meant to be best of both, display is flat , Bezel is micro curved so fingers swipe off and on more comfortably should also be able to find tempered glass protectors

Will be interesting to see if the snapdragon flagships also increase by the same amount. Whatever about keeping cameras the same it is disappointing when they actually downgrade them.

These new snapdrgon chips are soooo bad for the mobile market, price hikes don't make a chip great, improvements at the same price do! Qualcomm missed the memo and started becoming greedy, THIS is why competition is important. 2 years after Samsung stopped using exynos on their Ultra phones, they pull this. Disgusting.
And Xiaomi gave us a warning a year ago with the Xiaomi 14 Pro, we just were optimistic enough to think the future might be better.... we were wrong. Only the top tier flagships like the Ultras will get the best cams it seems. Unfortunate.

Lookin... morethought most of y'all would've still been mad at the micro curved display but most of you seem to be taking it well lol, Vincent Zhong has a nice video on the X200 Pro, the micro curve can still be seen from the side on a flat surface, when the phone is face down. Watch that video and you'll get an idea.

JN1 seems to be a downgrade compared to the huge half incher of the past, should've at least gotten a 1/2.55" one like the S24 Ultra or the 16 Pro Max. The zoom sensor change is welcome but this phone doesn't seem like it's worthy of a price hike. Oneplus doesn't have the camera processing capabilities of Oppo's Find phones or Vivo's dedicated ISP to pull off amazing shots from the JN1 and the main cam.
If the global price is 900 euro+ for the 256 GB storage version this year would be a no-go imo, if the 512 GB version is the base storage then it'd be a pretty badass buy at 950 euros i think.
The screen upgrade and the 8 Elite chip usage are surely to jack up prices, but idk man, i feel too bad about another price-hike for seemingly no reason. Not Oneplus's fault yeah but still, it stings. Especially with the UW cam.

I don't think visionox are bad these days but given a choice I'd definitely prefer to have the BOE screen. Realme will be the only Chinese brand to choose Samsung for their flagship screen for the upcoming flagships. Personally not that knowledgeable or picky about screens as long as it looks good to my eyes. I care more about other areas like cameras and speakers
