Pixel 6a, after update microphone stopped working. But only on regular voice calls. In all apps it works fine. I can call and send voice messages through apps like WhatsApp or similar. But when I call regular call or someone calls me to my mobile number they can't hear me.

To be fair, I told one of the guys on Reddit to hold down their power and volume button together for 60 seconds, and their Pixel 6 turned back on... I am not convinced that anyone's P6 is actually bricked... I think they just shut off after the update, which has happened plenty of times to my Pixel 6 Pro over the years after updates.

Updated my pixel 6 and it worked ok for approx 4 hours and it bricked itself. Upon Examination CPU fried.

Installed update immediately to Pixel6 after release.
Google maps had issues after installation, but after restart and 1 night of some quite time to handset it worked fine.
No issues so far.

It's not new for me I'm using pixel 6a and everyday facing some new new issues. I think Google need to close its mobile buisness, they providing us expensive garbage.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2024Idk about you but I grew up compiling my own android kernel... moreSadly with how the industry is moving forward, those days will be almost over, not even Xiaomi is letting you unlock bootloader as easily anymore with HyperOS, they want to lock you out of options just so when your phone dies, you have to buy another rather than fix it yourself.
