Don't know why people complain about Helio g100 if it's exactly the same as Helio g99 just that Helio g99 is everywhere and kinda getting old I don't get why there currently exists series of 4g SOCs currently if there's budget SOCs that support 5g I don't think they that much more expensive then Theyr 4g counterparts is Helio g100 performance worse then g99? Also would be cool to modernise Helio G90T it had cool features like 4k video support new model could be called Helio g200 or something.

They want to keep their milking cows spending money on every 6 months or yearly on tech trash with programmed obsolence.

No wonder their basic phones are the most sold second-hand models in my country by users frustrated with heavy lag issues and slow performance even for basic tasks.

120$ or below is a good deal

You have a lot to choose from anyway.

No thanks, Infinix. I'd rather stick to my current Note 30 VIP then replace it when I reach 3rd year college with any phone that has a flagship chipset because Helio should've gone a long time ago alongside the Snapdragon 6xx series. I know you're trying to target people looking for a decent phone on a budget, but sadly this isn't for me

Even with the misstep in using the Helio G100 instead of the G99, this is a really good phone for the price. Honestly, this is probably the best phone in its price category, since it has UFS 2.2 and a 120Hz 1080p OLED display (as well as 8GB of RAM, but only Scamsung hasn't done this on their budget phones at this point). Hard to find any faults with it for the price, and it certainly won't be a lagfest at all. When people tell me I'm expecting too much from budget phones, this is exactly what I will point to, because you can absolutely have a budget phone without all the fancy bells and whistles that still works without lag issues. It's only because of the lack of meaningful competition between OEMs that most of the phones in this price category suck, because OEMs care more about their fat profit margins when they have no incentive from the market to improve.
