Im still using Reno 4 5G. With no problems. Its scary how fast they release new models. Still have my 4 5G in warranty.

I'm not getting my hopes up. After what they did to the Reno12 series where they downgraded almost everything from the China ROM, I wouldn't be surprised if the chipset of both phones will be a random Mediatek chipset like 7350 Energy or something. And mark my words, they're probably increasing the price too, so that's why I have very low expectations. OPPO, please give global ROM the same love you have with the China ROM.

LTRace, 23 Oct 2024I'm using Reno 12 Pro Global Variant and it's not... moreIt's not bad, but there are bunch of other better options as well. Isn't it overpriced when you can get the Chinese version with a lower price and a more capable hardware?

Still sticking to my OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus...not much upgrade in their newer models ;)

dbizzle, 23 Oct 2024That sounds all well and good for the Chinese version, but ... moreI'm using Reno 12 Pro Global Variant and it's not that bad what everyone thinks, battery life is insane, camera is decent, performance for regular using is fine. For 400€ you get a great deal, also 512GB + Micro SD Card is amazing, hope they will stick to this in the future Reno series phones.

Oppo doesn't value international market as far as the midrange reno seris is concerned. How they move from dimensity 9 to 7 seris is astounding while keeping the prices high and a downgraded camera, it's a shame.

These specs sounds good for the Chinese version, well since this is a Chinese product then why not buy it straight from china because we all know that the global version will be very bad

dbizzle, 23 Oct 2024That sounds all well and good for the Chinese version, but ... moreYes, it's a shame to downgrade a smartphone so much: we went from a Dimensity 9200 to a Dimensity 7300 and the main photo sensor went from a 1/1.56" to a 1/1.95"... This is not how Oppo will gain market share

So get ready for a Dimensity 7350-"Energy" on global model

nice LTPO upgrade, Oppo Reno is not a cheap phone.

That sounds all well and good for the Chinese version, but watch them gimp the global ROM with inferior cameras and a low end processor. It's insane what they did to the 12 pro
